The Diary - 2016

July - We’ve had a good 2 weeks on the river. The last flood triggered a noticeable increase in sea trout activity, especially for those who enjoy fishing through the night. One beautiful fresh fish weighed in at 7lbs.
 
Last week the salmon started to register into the book, 2 lovely fresh fish at 12 and 10 lbs caused much delight and were returned to the water.

September - A wonderful week just passed. 14 fish in the book, the best weighing 15lbs. All were generously returned.

We could do with a pulse of rain to bring more fish into the beat, but we have enough water to take us through the season.

Off to the river for the first time...
